Alyson Baehnman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. She struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long.

Looking ahead, Baehnman and Weyauwega-Fremont will venture away from home to challenge Iola-Scandinavia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Baehnman had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April 18-1. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
