Baseball Recap: Dexter Takes a Loss

Dexter came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Jackson Fighting Indians, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in March.

Dexter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justus Lovelady, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Dexter's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Jackson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-12.

Dexter has already played their next game (against Kennett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jackson, they will take on Kirkwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
