There's no place like home for Northside Christian, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Delaware Christian Eagles with a sharp  3-0 win on Wednesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  victory being a  3-0  win  back in September.
 While Northside Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17,  28-26.
 Karis Vanderwarker paced Northside Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Vanderwarker got some help from  Lexi Baker and her 31 assists. Vanderwarker also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Claire Kester, each putting up two.
 Despite the loss, Delaware Christian still got an impressive performance from   Ashlyn McCoy, who  had 18  digs and two assists. McCoy is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last three games she's  played.  Achaia Marquis was another key player,  getting 14  assists and seven  digs.
Northside Christian's record is now 19-4. As for Delaware Christian, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record  this season.
 Northside Christian will square off against Madison Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. Delaware Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
