Flag Football Recap: Highlands Ranch Takes a Loss

Highlands Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbine Rebels.

Among those leading the charge was Ella Rieben, who rushed for 13 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 184 yards and one TD.

Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Columbine, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Highlands Ranch didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 38-0 defeat against Chaparral on the 30th. As for Columbine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 26-19 victory against Mullen on the 29th.
