Central Cabarrus has gone  a perfect 10-0 against South Rowan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Central Cabarrus Vikings will head out on the road to  take on  the South Rowan Raiders  at 5:30  p.m. Central Cabarrus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season.
Central Cabarrus took a loss when they played away from home  on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They walked away with  a   10-6  victory over Alexander Central. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  Chloe Phillips was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Peyton Smith also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
Meanwhile, South Rowan narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Cannon  4-3.
 Remi Haggerty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cressley Patterson, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  triple.  Leisha Carter was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Central Cabarrus now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Rowan, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Everything went Central Cabarrus' way against South Rowan when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as Central Cabarrus made off with  a  17-3 victory. Does  Central Cabarrus have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Rowan turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
