Basketball Recap: Little River Academy Takes a Loss

Little River Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 54-30 to the Rockdale Tigers. The Bumblebees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rockdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than De'Andre Stephens, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Penny, who put up ten points.

Little River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Rockdale, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-17.

Little River Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-42 loss against Thorndale on the 3rd. As for Rockdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-48 defeat against Franklin on the 3rd.
