Basketball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 41st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 46-27 fall against the Sierra Stallions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-59 back in January.

Mitchell's record is now 0-18. As for Sierra, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16.

Mitchell and Sierra could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. Mitchell will take on Falcon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 248 places (323 vs. 75). Meanwhile, Sierra (ranked 289th) will meet The Classical Academy (ranked 46th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
