Softball Recap: Dominion Comes Up Short

Dominion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 18-6 to the South Lakes Seahawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-3 last Tuesday.

Dominion's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Lakes, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dominion will challenge Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ram have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for South Lakes, they will take on Chantilly at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
