Soccer Recap: St. Edward's Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Edward can now relate to. They came up short against the Pine Knights on Thursday, falling 6-1. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

St. Edward's goal came courtesy of Caroline Langsam, who's now up to ten this season.

St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pine, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.

St. Edward's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine, they will challenge Master's Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Pine's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six contests.
