            Softball Recap: East Wilkes Cardinals vs. Christ the King Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            East Wilkes had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Christ the King Crusaders with a sharp  17-2 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 13 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Chloe Andrews made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Andrews was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Lilly Hendren, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Mathis, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
