Basketball Recap: Eman Skates Past Purdue Broad Ripple with Ease

Eman put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx 47-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hudhud also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Eman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayah Alhaffar out in front who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. Alhaffar is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Reef Abdelhafez was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

Despite the loss, Purdue Broad Ripple saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nadia Harris earned 12 points.

Eman's record now sits at 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eman will face off against BELIEVE Circle City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, they will take on Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
