Volleyball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tracy Bulldogs. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Kimball was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tracy work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 21-25, 14-25, 25-10, 15-6.

Tracy was led to victory by Ethan Juran and Christopher Pena. Juran had 16 digs, while Pena had 12 digs.

Kimball's record is now 2-13. As for Tracy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kimball will take on rival Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tracy is set to challenge their familiar foe Lodi at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
