Basketball Recap: McAuley Catholic Takes a Loss

McAuley Catholic was the 67-36 winner over New Covenant Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The McAuley Catholic Warriors took a 36-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Covenant Academy Warriors on Thursday.

McAuley Catholic dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for New Covenant Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

McAuley Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-19 defeat against Exeter on the 31st. As for New Covenant Academy, they will host School of the Ozarks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
