Basketball Game Preview: Brooks Eagles vs. Perspectives-IIT/Joslin Wolves

The Brooks Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Perspectives-IIT/Joslin Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brooks is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Last Tuesday, Brooks strolled past Chicago Vocational with points to spare, taking the game 54-38.

Meanwhile, Perspectives-IIT/Joslin had to suffer through a 51-23 loss at the hands of Thornton. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooks has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.1 points per game. As for Perspectives-IIT/Joslin, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Brooks lost to Perspectives-IIT/Joslin on the road by a decisive 47-32 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Brooks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
