Fort Recovery is 10-0 against New Knoxville since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Fort Recovery Indians will be playing at home against the New Knoxville Rangers at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Fort Recovery came up short against Marion Local and fell 46-38. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Flyers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, New Knoxville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-38 heartbreaker at the hands of Fort Jennings. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Musketeers are ranked 251st).

New Knoxville's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Fort Recovery, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.

Fort Recovery didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against New Knoxville when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 39-34 win.
