Softball Recap: Hidden Valley Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Hidden Valley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the North Valley Knights with a sharp 12-6 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aubree Schmidt was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Mendes, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Schmidt wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Hidden Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Hidden Valley pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Valley: the pair will be back at it again later today.
