Softball Preview: Katella Knights vs. Anaheim Colonists
The Katella Knights will square off against the Anaheim Colonists at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Things were looking good for Katella after they put the first runs on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Valencia by a score of 9-8. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Anaheim had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rebels a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Colonists, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.
