Softball Recap: East Iberville Wins Going Away Against Donaldsonville

East Iberville's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on Donaldsonville with a sharp 17-9 win. East Iberville hasn't had any issues with Donaldsonville recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

East Iberville let M. Arthur and C. Trice run wild. Arthur scored three runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-2, while Trice got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. With that strong performance, Arthur is now averaging an impressive 2 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was G. Castex, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

East Iberville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got East Iberville back to even at 2-2. As for Donaldsonville, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
