Volleyball Recap: Cypress Gets the Win

After losing to Canyon the last time they met, Cypress decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Centurions came out on top against the Comanches by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Cypress had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-23.

Cypress' win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Canyon, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress will host Yorba Linda at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon, they will challenge Brea Olinda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
