            Orange Cove is 8-2 against Orosi since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Titans will welcome the Cardinals  at 6:30  p.m. Orange Cove is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
Last Tuesday, Orange Cove earned  a  5-1 win over Lindsay. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Titans.
 Brandon Gonzalez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.

 In other batting news, Orange Cove let  Josiah Guerra and  Anthony Avila run wild. Guerra  scored two  runs and  stole three bases, while  Avila  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Guerra has become a key player for Orange Cove: the team is 5-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 2-5 otherwise.
 Meanwhile, Orosi fell victim to Hanford West and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They came up short against  the Huskies, falling  7-0. Having soared to a lofty 16  runs in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Orosi has also been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record  this season. As for Orange Cove, they now  have a winning record of 7-6.
 Orange Cove was able to grind out a solid  victory over Orosi in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024, winning  6-2. Will the Titans repeat their success,  or do  the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
