Volleyball Game Preview: San Luis Obispo Tigers vs. Arroyo Grande Eagles

The San Luis Obispo Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Arroyo Grande Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Luis Obispo will be strutting in after a win while Arroyo Grande will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, San Luis Obispo turned things around against Templeton on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 3-0.

San Luis Obispo walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Arroyo Grande's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Santa Ynez, falling 3-0.

Arroyo Grande took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

San Luis Obispo's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Arroyo Grande, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-16.

San Luis Obispo couldn't quite get it done against Arroyo Grande in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
