Basketball Recap: Dundalk Owls vs. Towson Generals
Even though the Towson Generals scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, the Dundalk Owls still came out on top. Dundalk took their game against the Generals 67-55. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dundalk also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Seven Wheeler and Korey Collins certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Wheeler scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Collins scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Wheeler hasn't dropped below three steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Will Fryer, who scored five points along with three steals.
Dundalk's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Towson, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Dundalk will head out on the road to challenge the Millers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Towson, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Bulls at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
