Basketball Recap: Perry Central Triumphs

Perry Central's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They skirted past the Boonville Pioneers 49-47. While the Commodores didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Perry Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Boonville, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Perry Central will be playing at home against Evansville Mater Dei at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Boonville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Castle at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Castle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season.
