Volleyball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

The Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans earned a 3-1 win over the Valley View Cougars on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

While Greater Nanticoke Area might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Valley View scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20.

Zachary Zubritski paced Greater Nanticoke Area's offense, picking up 13 kills. Zubritski got some help from Brady Rushton and his 38 assists. Jayden Wasielewski controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Greater Nanticoke Area pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Nanticoke Area will head out to challenge Berwick at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley View, they will venture away from home to take on Forest City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Valley View their first taste of in-conference action this season.
