Valley Christian had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Capistrano Valley Christian on Tuesday. The Defenders put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Defenders sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Valley Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Capistrano Valley Christian between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-16.

Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
