Soccer Recap: Pine View Comes Up Short

Pine View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Snow Canyon Warriors. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Pine View couldn't quite close it out.

Brooklyn Phillips and Naomi Heaton scored both of Pine View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Pine View's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Snow Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pine View is set to face off against their familiar foe Hurricane at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Snow Canyon will take on rival Cedar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
