Volleyball Recap: Incline Takes a Loss

Incline lost against Truckee back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highlanders came up short against the Wolverines, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Incline still got an impressive performance from LILI MORRISON, who had 34 digs and five blocks. MORRISON is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played. KAYLEE ALAMILLA TINOCO was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Truckee can attribute much of their success to Zoe Jackson, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Incline's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Truckee, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Incline will face off against rival Debbie Smith CTE Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Truckee is set to take on their familiar foe South Tahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
