Volleyball Game Preview: West Field Longhorns vs. Sky View Bobcats

The West Field Longhorns will head out on the road to square off against the Sky View Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

West Field lost 3-0 to Green Canyon on Tuesday. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Field was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 25-5.

Meanwhile, Sky View made easy work of Bear River on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-14.

West Field's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Sky View, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

West Field couldn't quite get it done against Sky View in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bobcats' Krew Stevens, who had 26 digs and three assists. Now that the Longhorns know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
