Volleyball Recap: Riverwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Riverwood lost against River Ridge back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Knights.

While Riverwood was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into River Ridge's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Riverwood still got an impressive performance from Olive Hanlin, who had eight digs. Carmen King also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Riverwood's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for River Ridge, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-6.

Riverwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Chamblee on the 2nd. As for River Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Allatoona on the 2nd.
