Davis waltzed into their match on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Wenatchee Panthers, posting an 82-22 victory. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Panthers are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Davis' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points over those games. As for Wenatchee, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Looking ahead, Davis will be playing in front of their home fans against West Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. Davis has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Wenatchee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
