Football Recap: Plainfield Quakers vs. New Palestine Dragons

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Plainfield can now relate to. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the New Palestine Dragons on Friday. The game marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bryce Sebanc threw for 64 yards on six of 14 attempts. Zander Nattam was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Luke Starnes rushed for 46 yards and one score.

Jacob Davis had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries for New Palestine. Davis' longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Josh Ranes was in the mix too, providing New Palestine with two TDs.
