Baseball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson had lost six straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-16 to make it seven. They lost 11-1 to the University Prep Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 on Tuesday.

As for University Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 18-9-1. Considering they have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For University Prep's part, Waylon Stripling was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Stripling has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Tyler White, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As of now, neither Anderson nor University Prep have any future games scheduled.
