Basketball Game Preview: Escalante Moquis vs. El Capitan Eagles

The Escalante Moquis will take on the El Capitan Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. El Capitan took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Escalante, who comes in off a win.

Escalante is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Freedom Prep Academy 50-15. The victory was some much needed relief for the Moquis as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, El Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 67-32 defeat at the hands of Red Mesa.

El Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Escalante, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.
