Soccer Recap: Southwest Onslow vs. South Lenoir
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wallace-Rose Hill, Southwest Onslow was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the South Lenoir Blue Devils. The Stallions wouldn't have won without Jeffrey Swinson, who scored the game-winner.
Southwest Onslow now has a winning record of 9-8. As for South Lenoir, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9-1 record this season.
Southwest Onslow will be playing at home against James Kenan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Lenoir, they will head out on the road to face off against East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
