Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for South Central

It's playoff time, and South Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Heritage Huskies 7-6. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Nate Hale looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Tyce Thompson was excellent, getting on base in three of his six plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jamari Hukins, who got five hits from his seven at bats.

South Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March.

South Central's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 21-7.

As of now, neither South Central nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
