River Falls entered their tilt with Superior on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Spartans. River Falls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Superior, too.

River Falls' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. As for Superior, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
