Hillel Academy has no trouble against St. Joseph

Recap: Hillel Academy vs. St. Joseph Spartans

Hillel Academy came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 53-39 victory over St. Joseph. Hillel Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlie Ross, who scored 13 points. Ross also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Spencer, who scored 12 points.

Hillel Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Joseph, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillel Academy will take on Neighborhood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neighborhood Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hillel Academy in Pennsylvania (Neighborhood Academy is ranked 187th, while Hillel Academy is ranked 525th). As for St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against Imani Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Imani Christian Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
