Basketball Recap: Taylor's Crossing Comes Up Short

Taylor's Crossing lost against Challis last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Taylor's Crossing Eagles lost 71-47 to the Challis Vikings. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Challis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Ollar, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Ollar a new career-high in rebounds. Jacen Farr was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 14 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Taylor's Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Challis, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Taylor's Crossing nor Challis have any future games scheduled.
