Football Game Preview: LaGrange Grangers vs. Sandy Creek Patriots + How To Watch

LaGrange is 1-6 against Sandy Creek since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Grangers will square off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as LaGrange comes in on four and Sandy Creek on 13.

LaGrange is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 win over Stephenson.

LaGrange didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaderius Render and Jardon Stringer.

Meanwhile, while Sandy Creek put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Douglass. The Patriots blew past the Astros, posting a 34-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 11 contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

LaGrange better keep an eye on Amari Latimer. He was instrumental in Sandy Creek's win, rushing for 155 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 38 receiving yards. Latimer is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 104 every time he's taken the field this season.

LaGrange's record is now 11-2. As for Sandy Creek, their record now sits at 13-0.

LaGrange lost to Sandy Creek on the road by a decisive 23-7 margin in their previous meeting back in August. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Latimer, who rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
