Highland Tech took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Pinnacle Classical Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Highland Tech skirted past Pinnacle Classical Academy 16-15. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meredith Bolick was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and two stolen bases. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Prudence Hammond was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Bolick wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Highland Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They got six more hits than Pinnacle Classical Academy's also-impressive total of 12.

Highland Tech pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Highland Tech beat Pinnacle Classical Academy by a score of 13-1 on Friday.
