Basketball Recap: Natalie Gilbertson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Shoshoni over Wind River

Shoshoni lost against Wind River back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shoshoni Wranglers took a 54-38 bruising from the Wind River Cougars. The Wranglers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shoshoni lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Natalie Gilbertson, who posted 21 points along with six boards and three steals. That was a full 55.3% of Shoshoni's points, marking the fourth time in a row Gilbertson has had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mayce Jarvis, who scored five points.

Shoshoni's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Wind River, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

As of now, neither Shoshoni nor Wind River have any future games scheduled.
