Softball Recap: Gateway Takes a Loss

The Gateway Eagles lost 17-2 to the DeSoto County Bulldogs on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gateway's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for DeSoto County, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, DeSoto County will head out to face off against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gateway will be paying especially close attention to DeSoto County's match: after DeSoto County faces off against Braden River, they'll take on Gateway again at 6:30 p.m. on April 7.
