Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Conner's Winning Streak

After a string of 12 wins, Conner's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the East Central Trojans by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Conner sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 15-10.

Charlotte Patton paced Conner's offense, picking up ten kills. Patton got some help from Alexis Kampsen and her 13 assists. Shylyn Koerber controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Conner's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for East Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

Conner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Beechwood on the 22nd. As for East Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against South Ripley on the 20th.
