Volleyball Recap: Badger Comes Up Short on the Road Against Brookfield + How To Watch

Badger had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Brookfield Warriors on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Badger was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Badger still got an impressive performance from Alison Price, who had 15 digs. Price is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season. Sarah Miller was another key player, getting five kills, three digs, and two blocks.

The victory got Brookfield back to even at 1-1.

Badger and Brookfield will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Braves are set to square off against their familiar foe Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Brookfield will face off against rival Champion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
