Basketball Recap: Middle Tennessee Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Franklin Classical School on Monday, Middle Tennessee Christian came back down to earth. The Cougars fell just short of the Columbia Central Lions by a score of 47-45 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cougars have suffered since December 21, 2024.

Middle Tennessee Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Columbia Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Middle Tennessee Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grace Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Columbia Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
