Recap: Columbus East Olympians vs. Madison Cubs        
        
		
            
 The Columbus East Olympians were the  78-44 winner over the Madison Cubs when they last played one another  back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Columbus East lost to Madison on the road  by a decisive  64-49 margin on Saturday. Columbus East has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Columbus East's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Savanna Sullivan, who  scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Sullivan has scored all season.  Caroline Frost was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Columbus East has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Madison, their win  ended a four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 8-12.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus East will take on Silver Creek at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Silver Creek will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Madison, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against North Harrison at 7:30  p.m. North Harrison is hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
