Basketball Recap: LaGrange Academy Triumphs

LaGrange Academy extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Atlanta Jewish Academy. They came out on top against the Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar by a score of 60-51.

When it comes to explaining why Atlanta Jewish Academy lost, don't look at Zac Agichtein. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds. Agichtein's evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jonny Wilson, who posted five points.

LaGrange Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-21.

Looking ahead, LaGrange Academy will challenge First Preparatory Christian Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. First Preparatory Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.9 points per game this season. Atlanta Jewish Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
