Softball Recap: Cumberland Gets the Win

While Cumberland's victory against Overbrook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colts narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rams 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Colts have posted since April 2nd.

The win made it two in a row for Cumberland and bumps their season record up to 4-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Overbrook, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Cumberland will host Deptford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Overbrook has already played their next contest (against Camden County Vo-Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
