Southeast Guilford proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Asheboro Blue Comets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since October 14, 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Asheboro scored at least 14 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 23-25, 16-14.
