Football Game Preview: Woodland Park Panthers vs. Lamar Thunder + How To Watch

The Woodland Park Panthers will head out to challenge the Lamar Thunder at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Park hasn't scored more than 13 points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Friday, Woodland Park lost to Banning Lewis Academy at home by a 27-13 margin.

Meanwhile, Lamar came up short against La Junta on Friday and fell 21-12. Despite 78 more yards than the Tigers, the Thunder couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Woodland Park now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lamar, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Woodland Park didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lamar when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 24-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
